Terms of Service

Silver9ja is a community for connections and friendship for people aged 40 and over, operated by Donkey Technologies. Members can discover others through shared interests, exchange messages after a mutual match, and join interest based groups and local events.

You must be at least 40 years old to use Silver9ja. By signing up you confirm that your date of birth and the other information you provide are accurate. Accounts with false age or identity information may be removed.

Accounts are secured with your email address, a password you choose, and a numeric verification code sent to your email. Our emails contain codes only, never links. You are responsible for keeping your password and email access secure, and for activity that happens through your account.

You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, or abuse other members.
• Run scams, ask other members for money, or promote financial schemes.
• Send spam or unsolicited advertising.
• Create fake profiles or impersonate another person.
• Post illegal, hateful, or sexually explicit content.
• Attempt to access another member's account or data.

Breaking these rules can lead to content removal, suspension, or a permanent ban.

You keep ownership of the photos and text you post. You give us permission to store and display them as part of the service. Every photo is reviewed by a moderator before other members can see it, and we may reject or remove content that breaks these terms or our community standards.

Members can create groups and organize local meetups. Donkey Technologies does not organize, supervise, or control member events, and members attend in person meetups at their own risk. Please use ordinary care when meeting anyone for the first time. You can block members and report concerns at any time, and reports are reviewed by our moderation team.

We provide tools to help members meet, but we do not guarantee matches, dates, friendships, or any particular outcome. We are not responsible for the conduct of any member, online or offline.

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or remove accounts that break these terms, risk the safety of other members, or misuse the service. Some records may be kept for legal or safety reasons after an account ends.

Silver9ja is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, Donkey Technologies is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, for the actions of members, or for interruptions to the service. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under Nigerian law that cannot be excluded.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of Nigeria have jurisdiction over disputes arising from them.

If we change these terms, we will update the date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will notify members by email or in the app. Continuing to use Silver9ja after a change means you accept the updated terms.
